Stone Pine Distillery is owned and operated by Bev & Ian Glen, and was the first microdistillery in the Central West, established in 2008. Solar power generation and rainwater harvesting are some of the measures employed to ensure Stone Pine spirits are as green as possible. The philosophy at Stone Pine is to source only the best ingredients, and keep processing to a minimum, in order to showcase the natural flavours – no additives or preservatives are used. A particular speciality is the use of Australian native ingredients, which feature in the Black Spiced Rum, Finger Lime Vodka & Liqueur, and in the flagship Dry Gin, which won a coveted Silver Medal at the International Wine & Spirit Competition in London in 2013. On the back of this success, Stone Pine has expanded its distribution, with the Gin in particular found in cocktail bars right across the country.
