A Riedel Sensory Workshop is an entertaining and educational opportunity to learn how varietal specific glassware can enhance the flavour and aroma of wine. You’ll get a glimpse into Riedel’s 260 year history of design and invention, while tasting four beautiful cool climate wines which will be varietally matched to four glasses from our Performance Series, our most recent and technologically advanced series yet.

SATURDAY 26th OCTOBER | National Cool Climate Wine Show Public Tasting
Held on the Saturday evening after the judging is completed, the trophies are awarded and the winners are congratulated, the Wine Show Public Tasting is a night when you get to try your skills as a wine taster and judge the wines yourself. Compare the flavours across different regions and assess the techniques used by the wine makers as they vie for top points. Collect your complimentary Wines of Bathurst glass upon entry, highlight your top wines in your wine show tasting booklet.

Today, Carbon is a resource that is receiving more attention than ever before within our communities. The significance of it’s roles within agricultural, ecological and economic systems is hard to wholly capture. In the farm or garden, a well made compost can Increase soil quality, carbon sequestration and bio-diversity as well as decreasing demand for water and ultimately leading to economical savings.
In conjunction with Greening Bathurst, The Bathurst Regional Vignerons Association (BRVA) are hosting a Seminar, bringing together 5 expert speakers on developing and maintaining healthy a soil ecology, touching on topics including; composting, compost teas, micro-organisms, the soil food web and bio-dynamics.
